Williamsburg and Bushwick have received their fair share of attention as growing art communities.  Greenpoint is one of Brooklyn's hottest neighborhoods, thanks to an influx of young, college-educated newcomers who are transforming the Williamsburg-Greenpoint-Bushwick section of Brooklyn.

Spend a few hours exploring the Greenpoint art scene.  We will be visiting artist studios, galleries and stopping at some of the most talked-about cafes and eateries.  We will also visit a Starbucks and Rite-Aid pharmacy that originally were elegant movie theaters and still have some of its theatre architectural elements. Please wear comfortable shoes.  We will be meeting at Cafe Grumpy on 193 Meserole Ave.
